it was when I stopped fighting my darkness that I realized it was trying to lead me to my light.
when you're emotionally manipulated like so many of us were as a child, you develop the ability to hide what you're feeling to prevent others from using said feelings against you. you also get very adept at running from 'outside' sources that cause discomfort in an attempt to protect your self - often overlooking that you're actually running from your {self} the entire time. that 'outside' of us which triggers our emotional guidance system is placed there to help us follow the feelings back to the root ~ most often you then find that the original wound inflicted upon you at such a young age was done so unintentionally, and the coping mechanisms that you developed as a result were very understandable up until a certain point. it is when we stop running, that we finally catch up. it is when we stop looking, that we finally see. it is when we stop seeking, that we finally find our true Self; the Self we have always been underneath the layers we have accumulated in this life, the Self that we have always been waiting for. ~it is when this happens, that the truly transformational magick begins~ ✨💜 sending love and strength to you, sweet soul, wrapped in the highest vibes and all the soul hugs you can possibly dream of. you are resilient beyond measure, and more brilliant than you can ever conceive. 💕

As previously mentioned (almost a year ago lol, oopsie been a busy lil 🐝), here is a ritual that can be performed on the day of the Full Moon [I've also heard moon energies are powerful 3 days before & after the actual full phase, in case you're too busy the day of] and can easily be modified for whatever Zodiac the moon falls under. Luna shifts from each Zodiac sign every 2-3 days and this upcoming Wednesday she will be in the sign of Scorpio; a water sign symbolizing death, rebirth, transmutation and intensity. There are SO many different rituals you can perform and a quick Google search will yield ample inspiration; these are just a few things I've been doing and seeing results from over the last few years. I like to invoke all the elements during my ceremonies, and often pay extra respect to whatever one the moon is in during a Full/New Moon ritual. To do this, I'll be taking a detoxifying bath and performing a candle spell while in deep meditation. Before the tub fills up, I let the water run over my hands for a few seconds and picture any worries, fears or negative thought patterns washing down the drain, and then I fill the tub and add Epsom salt for an extra cleansing soak. (Typically I use essential oils + bentonite clay mixed with the salt but haven't been while pregnant). I've carved certain Elder Futhark Rune symbols into a blue spell candle (symbolizing water) to attract specific qualities and cultivate certain traits during this lunar cycle, and will meditate on each symbol to further draw them into me to work closer with the ones I've chosen, allowing the candle to fully burn before leaving the tub. After the bath I take a quick shower to rinse off any toxins drawn out by the salts and again picture negative thoughts washing away with the water, while giving thanks for the healing offered by this sacred element. As the Full Moon signifies completion and releasing unwanted energies + thoughts, in the evening I'll perform a releasing ceremony by writing down any thoughts, fears or the like that no longer serve me on small pieces of paper and put them into my witchy mortar with specific herbs chosen for their magickal properties (I'll go into more detail on these in another post). As mentioned, to utilize each element I bring them into my ritual as follows - I'll take the mortar outdoors under the Full Moon to burn 🔥 the contents and will blow 💨 them out when completely engulfed, then pour water 💦 over them to ensure they're fully extinguished and finally, will dig a hole to bury them in the Earth 🌎, who has the ability to transmute and cleanse any energy we ask her to. To finish, I sit in silence and give deep thanks to each element, Spirit Guide, and Luna herself, and reflect on any insights or messages received during this time. I also place my crystals outdoors to receive a potent moon bath if there's a clear forecast, but if it's supposed to rain I put them along the window ledges so they can still soak up the revitalizing energies. Another simple but powerful thing you can do under the moon phases is make moon water - simply add filtered water to a mason jar (or anything that can be sealed shut) and place a crystal that is not water soluble inside it to infuse it with crystal energy, leaving it outdoors to soak under the moons energy for a potent elixir to be enjoyed during the week ahead (can also be used to make tea; so delicious) Full Moon affirmation I'll be utilizing: Let us celebrate this Scorpio Full Moon as we transmute and ascend beyond our fears and celebrate this life in deepest gratitude, reverence and wonder. All is well, all is love. & so mote it be. ✨🌕✨ |
